My sister can see spirits, but cannot communicate with them and I have always felt like I may have the gift too because I can FEEL them around me. People, I am sure, are going to think I am crazy. I have seen a spirit once, and it looked like a shadow. It scared the living daylights out of me, and darted off into the corner of my room. I feel like if I am able to see them, the feeling of them around me may not scare me so much. I dont want to conjure up anything unnatural because the outcome will just be fear, on my part. I just want to know if there is a way I can tell if I do have a gift, and a way I can learn to control or enhance it? My sister is frightened by her gift. Is there a way that I can help her control and learn more about it? Any help will be usefull! :) Thank you!

Ok....my realm of knowledge is a bit wide in this area and growing. What you first need to know is that they are not spirits. There are realms, planes and dimensions that occur parallel to our own. They exist on a different freqeuncy to our own existence yet do exist. Some people have the gift preceive these higher or lower frequencies. Physics energy can not be created nor destroyed, just changed. This is similar. The belief of devils or demons come from lower frequency realms and angels and Gods from higher frequency realms. American Indians believe this and so do many shamans, witchdoctors, seers and psychics of the world. It's how you interact that lets you communicate. There are several places on the Net you can find to help you. I'll list a few. Hope this helps.

I heard meditation helps. Shadow people are not usually a good sign.
