After you ate a pill like that to cover nutrition, what would you do for that yummy feeling you get when you fill your stomach with some hot comfort food so your mind can drift back to other great meals you ate in the past? Eating is not just a nutrition thing, at least for people. A pill like that would take out the entire pleasure of dining with friends, family or lovers.

That is why no one would invent a pill and no one would buy a pill like that.

I don't think it's a good idea to replace food with a vitamin or liquid vitamin/supplement unless you're very sick and the disease/condition causes you to not eat - like cancer, where you lose lots of weight due to the harsh treatments.

Good news though! - There is a product that my doctor recommended to me called VIBE. It is a liquid vitamin that has ALL of the needed daily vitamins and minerals, and much more good stuff . You can choose from Berry or Apple flavor. You mix a capful of it with juice - I like it with orange juice! And you only need to drink it twice a day. Since it's a liquid, instead of a huge pill, it's more fun to take everyday. It's like, it's not a chore that you're not looking forward to doing.

I'm usually pretty skeptical about stuff but since my doctor recommended it I decided to give it a try. I've been using it for about 8 months now. I love it!

Here is one of many websites where you can view the product: http://www.livingnutritionals.com/index.php?cPath=141_142&gclid=CP-a69PUtIoCFQyNgAodTnC6OQ

There are many different VIBE products so be sure that you're looking at the right one. Here is a picture of the one that I use: http://www.livingnutritionals.com/images/applevibe.jpg

Do a google search on Eniva Vibe or Eniva Vibe Apple Flavor to be more specific. It's really great.

There is another product that can provide you with the calories that you need for the day. Now this product can pretty much be used without eating but you'd need to take 3 or 4 servings of it per day. Once again, I don't recommend NOT EATING. Plus, eating good ole food is fun!

This one can help you maintain gain or maintain weight. This is a product that someone could use if they decided not to eat food or something. I'm going to order some of this for myself. I have a pretty busy schedule and I skip meals A LOT, so I need to keep my calorie intake up, otherwise I'd end up losing weight.

I hope that helps!!

No, it's really not possible. There would need to be a means of hyper-concentrating calories. Even if you had enough calories, the basoreceptors in your digestive tract would be telling you "I'm hungry"... Even still, with limited stimulation, the peristalsis (digestive contractions which move your food) would slow, sending your body into starvation mode, causing you to digest more efficiently (but, since you'd have adequate nutrition, you'd likely gain a lot of weight as a result).

they do have a pill like that however it is not allowed in the united states because doctors and health insurance companies cannont make anything from it. the pill has a guarntee that you would not get sick if you are healthy when you start. the down side is that you would have to take the pill for the rest of your life because it takes over your immune system.
