I just got back home and his ear is puffy, I have 2 cats and the other has been kinda rough with him lately, he probably bit him in the ear.What can I give him now to releive the pressure for the tonight so tomorrow morning I can take him to the vet?

it sounds like you are describing a hematoma. this is when blood is trapped between the skin and cartilage. There is no over the counter treatment. Also cats are very sensitive to human medicine so please don't give him any.

give the poor little boy some loving for the the niter,be sure to take him to the Vets. Sounds like an abscess which could be deadly, it's a real bad infection. I had a cat which was stray and was the whooping boy for the neighborhood cats,by the time i was able to get him to the vet the infection killed him.

you could try anbesol. It will clean it and numb it. And if the cat tries to lick at it or paw it or whatever you call it, then the taste may deter him from messing with it. Make sure you take it to the vet though. That's really not good. Oh. It might sting in the beginning but it will numb up really fast. good luck.

put warm compresses on the ear and get him checked for a hematoma this can be a bad injury to the ear. our dog had one and had to get surgery

sounds like an abcess and nothing over the counter will help, if you don't get help with a vet your cat will die.

try to clean it with warm soap and water put some neosporn on it also;that will help it heal..if it gets worse you better get her to the vet ,,LOL
