Two servings of milk, half a slice of cheese (25% DV in a whole slice), a calcium supplement (40% DV), and a cup of hot cocoa (another serving of milk, really)?

Bone density is developed when we are young. Because a teenager's bones are still developing, she needs additional calcium to meet her everyday needs and develop a good density base. The minimum calcium requirements for teens 9-18 is 1300 mg /day.

The percentages you listed above are based on an adult's requirements, not a teenager's requirements. You must total the milligrams consumed rather than the percentages to get an accurate picture of adequate consumption. Unfortunately, you did not state exactly how much you consumed, and without that information, it's impossible to determine the number of milligrams of calcium consumed. How MUCH milk did you drink... 8 ounces...12 oz....16 oz? How much did the slice of cheese weigh... was it a pasturized slice.... was it 1 oz of cheddar, etc? How much hot cocoa was consumed.... 8 oz.....12 oz....etc? As you can see, it is difficult to determine exactly how much calcium you consumed when you refer to it as "serving." Your idea of serving may be different than what is actually considered a true serving.
