Very much so. Ever had to take a test and been so nervous that you got sick to your stomach? Better yet, remember playing hide-and-seek as a kid and every time you found a great hiding spot you got excited and felt the need to urinate, never fails, every single time. Your body reacts to every type of stress, internal or external.

Yes! They actually had something on the news the other day about "hang overs" from stress, over eatting, and other things. Stress definately could cause hair loss. Try meditation and especially before bed so that you have a better chance of being relaxed to get a good nights sleep. You could also try sented candles or airfresheners. Its a proven fact that the smell of things like baked goods (example: cookies brownies) help reduce stress. That assuming you like those cents. :/ Hope I helped

YES!!! Stress can cause hair loss, breakouts, headaches, depression, loss of sleep, too much sleep, body aches and pains, stomach upset, short temper, and just about anything else you can think of including heart problems. If you are under an extreme amount of stress it's time to start telling people no, learning how to relax, and maybe exercising. Take it easy!! Life is to short!!

Believe me!!!! Stress can affect everything of the body and mind. Physical and mental. Hair loss is one effect and anything else is too. Most people don't realize how stress can effect us.
It can also cause any heath problems. High blood pressure, irregular heart beat, aches pains, sleep or insomnia. Diarreha or constipation.

Yes! But what you are describing (hairloss, fatigue) are symptoms of hypothyroid. If you are more tired after stress, its possible you have an adrenal problem. Of course its possible to have both since the pituitary regulates thyroid and adrenal, if you have a problem with your pituitary that could cause all those symptoms. See an endocrinologist and make sure they test TSH and cortisol levels. Good luck.

i know for a certain fact that stress can cause you to have white hairs. but the sleeping patterns i do not think so. sleeping more should lessen stress levels. but overall, stress should not affect sleep unless you are really stressed about something you just keep thinking about it and you can not sleep.
