Honey, if this is all true information then you are way to skinny, you are past anorexic skinny. I can't believe you are even alive. Please talk to someone, anyone! I know it can be very hard but you need to see a doctor or tell you parents or somebody. You may not believe that you're skinny but you are. There is no way someone 5'7" and 57 is fat. I'm trying to be as nice as possible and not give you a jerky answer like other people becuase I know how it feels to think your fat. I think I'm fat but people tell me I'm not. We're telling you that you are not fat and you need to try to fix this. You could die and I don't think you want that :/
Please take this answer into consideration... Good Luck!

I think you meant 157...there is no way a person at 5'7" can be 57 lbs. You'd be a corpse, like, dead. If you did mean 157, I think that's in the normal range for BMI, search google for BMI calculator, and see what your BMI is, I think it'll be in the healthy range. So no, I doubt you're fat. Exercising is always good, whether it's to lose weight, or not. So I do encourage you to try exercising at least 3 x a week for 30-60 minutes a day.

I really hope you meant 157. I am also 5'7, & I weigh 150 lbs. I do not consider myself fat. If you weigh 157, I do not think you are fat either. 5'7 is pretty tall, so that gives us an advantage--we can weigh more & not be fat. If, in fact, you do weigh 57 lbs., please gain some weight! That is way, way, way, too skinny. We are often our worst critic, so don't trust your own mirror. Turning to us on Yahoo is a step in the right direction. I think I can speak for everyone when I say that you are NOT fat! Please-seek counseling-b/c being that skinny is very unhealthy & dangerous.

well.. i think you meant you're 157, because at 57 you would cease to exist...
and your BMI is currently at 24.6, and it is still in the "normal" range as far as weight to height correlation is concerned..
BUT...
the "overweight" category starts at a BMI of 25. you're only .4 off, which isnt exactly a great amount, and i may get a crap-load of thumbs down for this, but i def think you need to start watching what you eat and yes you should def. exercise a bit more, not just to lose weight but to be a healthy person in general.
so, there. you wanted an honest opinion, you have the facts in front of you (Body Mass Index scores- BMI's), and only you know what you're consuming and what you're avoiding...
good luck with that.

If you only weigh 57 pounds you need to get to a doctor right away. You are in great physical danger! You are in no way fat but, if you perceive yourself that way, you need to talk to a professional so that they can help you choose proper eating habits!

5'7" and 157....you are ok.
Bones with meat on them are very comfortable and cuddly.

I think you need professional help, you could be 135lbs or more and still not be overweight. I bet you look like a walking scarecrow.

How old are you?
If this is true, you're in great danger of death. See a doctor immediately.
If you're pulling our legs, grow up.
