Healthy weight loss occurs at about 1-2 pounds per week. If you lose it any faster, you won't do yourself any good. You will only be doing "fad" dieting and will gain it back. That said, some people have a lot of success with Atkins. It's not really as unhealthy as most people think, especially if you concentrate on eating whole natural foods and not a lot of bacon and cheese. I lost 3 pounds a week on a medically supervised low carbohydrate diet, but it was not easy. I drank 4 protein shakes a day and ate meat and salad for dinner. With Atkins, or South Beach or other low carb diets, you have more choices and it teaches you to eat heatlhy in the long run. Bottom line is, you didn't gain it all in a month and taking it off will be hard, but rewarding and you will learn healthy eating habits for a lifetime. The exercise is good! Keep it up!

My dear,
If you are so sure of the number of calories you burn and eat, you should have very confdint figures about how fast it would take you to lose 50-60 pounds.
However, in some cases for some people, weight gain may not be caused only by input being more than output... it could be caused by a host of other things like the energy level in your digestive system, your system's existing amount of toxins in your colon, your mindset and many other things.
I am a detox specialist and help people lose weight via a detox programme. To date, I have helped people lose a total of 500kg in the past 4 years...
I myself lost 15kg and dropped from XL to a S size within 2 mths via the detox. Would you be interested to try that as well?
If you did a detox, you might take 3-8 months to lose that amount of weight.. depending on how intense your detox is. And what i am very sure of is that it would be MUCH FASTER and also MUCH SAFER and MORE EFFECIENT than what you are currently doing now.
The detox is simple, all you need to do is three things.
Number one, follow the detox programme which requires you to change your diet a little bit. Eg, take more vege and less meat and seafoods.
Number two, use 1 minute a day to take some natural health foods consumable even by babies and pregnant women that will enhance the speed and the effect of the detox.
Number three, drink lots of water to flush the toxins out and help your body start to accept water.
And that's it.
The rest is up to you.
So what do you think? ;)
If you are keen, you can email me at verityy@yahoo.com.

if you want to improve your health generally, lose weight and have more energy then getting some nutritional help is vital. Once your body starts to absorb the right nutrients and vitamins and protein then you’ll be amazed how quickly you will feel the difference, usually within the first 48 hours if you get the right supplements and help. I had no energy and felt just generally rotten all round so I sought the advice of a nutritional coach (whose advice was FREE) and got myself some great products, I even got free samples before I got started so I could see just how good they were!! There is a website called myhealthabc.com If go on there and fill out the details page you will get a call with no pressure about what you need. There is a mall area as well that’s got some great info and its all set out with easy to follow headings so you can find what you want. It’s so easy and the stuff they have is excellent. I have been using their products for over two years and I feel great. I lost 70 pounds in less than seven months!! My sister lost 60 pounds in five months.

as fast as you can get to the surgeon, the faster you'll lose weight. jk-you should prpbably add some viatims and/or vitaim or diet shakes to that. you have some pretty well balanced meals, but you still arent getting all the vitamins you need. so i'd take something like that in addition, so it doesnt take the protien and stuff out of your muscles.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
Get started today!

Six months sound good. Any faster and it'll be hazardous to your health because your body can't adapt to the sudden change.
