I bought the Halo- Combat Evolved Game for PC. I have a good graphics card, the ATI X1300 512MB PCIXx16. Since my card is made by a third party company, Visiontek, most games recognize this card as an older, not as powerful graphics card; however, it still performs very well with a game, even when the games says the card is bad.

The game of Halo detected my graphics card as a bad quality card. It told me to run the game in safemode, so I did for the first try, but I accidentally clicked on the never show this message again tab. Now my graphics settings are deadlocked at the lowest settings. I need to know how to fix this. I have tried just upping the settings in the menu, but it doesn't change gameplay or the menu graphics.

I can't uninstall the game, because the version I have is a downloaded version from BitTorrent. How can I fix this problem?

I thought I made it clear enough, but from the first answer, I guess not. I can't uninstall the game because I never had to install it in the first place. It is a just an executable program. I didn't have to install it, and I can't uninstall it. All I do to run it is click on the shortcut.

Uninstall the video card drivers, and reinstall them. That should clear out the setting.

If you downloaded the game, then you should still have the install files. Just UN-install it, and then use the files you downloaded originally to install it again.
