I've done extensive testing of this theory and have found that the reverse is true.... you gain weight.

Oh my Gosh, no, no, no. Beer will put the worst kind of belly fat on you! Its horribly hard to get rid of. Why do you think they call it the 'beer belly?' Whoever told you that is either ignorant, and idiot or does not have your best interest at heart. The best way to loose weight is to burn more calories than you are eating every day. You have to exercise and there is not way around it. If you walk a couple of miles per day, at least two, five is better, stop eating suger, stop eating alot of salt, stop eating alot of rice, bread, cakes, donuts and pasta. Eat SMALL amounts of food in about 6 meals per day (it keeps your system in digestion and will give you more energy and burn more fat) of nothing BUT vegetables, a little bit of fruit, a little bit of yogurt every single day for digestion, a little bit of oatmeal every single day for digestion, and only about 2 oz. of BAKED protein a day (no fatty beef, cut off the skin from the chicken), and generally limit your caloric intake to about 1200 calories a day, you should take off weight at a healthy rate and keep it off. Drink lots and lots of water. When you don't have enough water in you your body will hord the water. Do not drink sodas or sports drinks or alot of sugery juices.
