There is a show on CNBC, The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch, aired this week I think, in which they showed a new breed of dog that apparently will be the next big thing. Its a mix of like 5 different breeds, I believe it has yet to be approved by the AKC.

there are a lot of "designer mutts" lately. They are just mutts with cute names that people are asking ridiculous amounts of money for. The most popular ones are labradoodles (poodle X lab), golden doodles (golden retriever X poodle) and puggles (pug X beagle). Save your money, you can get a FANCY MUTT at a shelter.

your right, it has yet to be approved by the AKC and will probably never be accepted by the AKC

It's called a mutt. YOu can get them from the humane society. They put lots of them to death every day.
