ok this may sound crazy but ..well... i want to tro a b-day party for my cat Max! and i dunno what to do I was thinking that i could get my friends cats over but mabe they have fleas or they might noit like him or omthing but i want to make it very nice!! you knowwhat i mean! I LOVE MY CAT he is like my best friends HELP ME

I did this for my cat once...I bought him some of his favorite treats and put them in a bowl then I gave him a small bowl of his favorite food, then I wrapped up some toys that I knew he would love with some string (tie loosely) and let him play with the package until he got his gifts out of their little string wrappers. Really a B-day party is about celebrating another year of fun with the guest of honor...so lots of attention and play and treats and toys...cats don't understand parties so inviting other cats and stuff over could be stressful...just enjoy the day but make sure it centers on your cat instead of whatever else!

not a crazy idea at all, i am sure he will love it...if you dont go overboard like some tv shows would like it to be...no, dont invite any other cats over...to many things can go wrong. it is best between your kitty and you (maybe rest of family too if they wish to join in)...take Max's fav treat and one of those toys that you can stuff the treats in...get him some new toys to replace used ones...make a canned cat food (or better, a mini cake of real tuna((only use the kind with water not oil)) cake...there are many ideas to make his day special. happy birthday to Max

Bake him a turkey. Play with him with a long piece of string or cat teaser all day. Pet him in all his favorite places. Give him a nice saucer of tuna juice before bed. Play 'Year of the Cat' all day. He'll love you.
Forget strange cats. He'll hate that. He wants YOU.

not at all crazy, I threw my two cats a birthday party. he's some ideas:
*before you bring other cats over for a party arange a play date, have them meet and try to get them used to eachother. make sure first that both cats are free of fleas and caught up on shots. slowly introduce them to eachother and when they are nice to each other praise thme and give them treats
*if the cats get along invite them for the party, if not have your friends come over.
*make you cat special treats, something like http://www.recipegoldmine.com/pets/pets157.html shape them into a cake shape, put it on a special plate, ect. you can google home cat treats for more recipes.
*make a cake for humans to eat, either writing happy birthday Max or soemthing fun like this

Awww, that's sweet! Yes, get his other cat buddies over and break out the cat nip! I usually get my cat something fun like a new toy or cat bed, and nap with her all day on the couch on a Saturday.

i do it every year with my two cats, but it is just my husband, my other cat and me. i get a huge cake with candles my husband thinks it is silly but he still eats the cake.
