okay in the commercial for some kind of chicken wrap the golf player lyes down and hits the ball with the end of the gold club (like a pool stick). could you technically do this??

Physically, of course it can be done, but it does violate the rules of golf. Unfortunately, I've not seen the commercial, but I believe that one of the 2 rules below would address your question:

That shot was done as the final shot in the Western open sometime in the 20's at Glen Oaks C.C. The golfer had a three shot lead...was given a two shot penilty and won the event by one stroke with a final four day total of 301...this still stands as the last 'PGA' tour event to have a wining total score over 300 for four rounds of golf.

No. 2 reasons. #1 all clubs must be approved by the USGA. #2 according to rules you are not allowed to stand on the line of your putt. So lying down along the green on the line of your putt is against the rules

no using any part of the club other than the putting or hitting surface is not allowed. i can't remember the exact ruling but it is either a stroke pentalty or loss of round or something but yes it is illegal.

Yes of course, but it is not a shot in Golf. You would be penalized.
