Norwegian Forest Cat/Main Coon of the gray and brown tabby pattern. Classic tabby pattern ... with the target on it's side.
Long hair, long tail, large paws, long hind legs, tufted ears, 13 - 18 pounds of muscle, and the most pleasant disposition you'd ever want to encounter in a cat. I've had a few of these.

massive ole Moggie barn cats. I easily have a pair of them with a muddle of kittens and they are only tremendous cats. And truly huge; the male is over 14 pounds and the hot mom is only below 11 pounds. in the previous those cats I lived in the city and continuously had pound/rescue cats and they were puny and needy little creatures. those cats are fiercely self sustaining, yet they're very affectionate too. And the kittens at 6 weeks are growing to be like weeds. I easily have easily taken one which the mother began to reject and am handraising it to be a house cat.

This is not a breed but a type of cat. I prefer to go to the cat shelter and save one or two beautiful felines. Maybe others can do the same.

all cats have their own personalities, and they're all great!!
But I have to say my favourite breed of cat to own was a Persian cat. I've had two of them and they were both EXTREMELY intelligent!
If I told him to wait, he'd wait where he was. He'd play fetch with me,and he knew how to open doors...He did lots of crazy intelligent things!! He acted more human than cat...Also, I Love this breed because they are one of the breeds I know of for sure that they absolutely LOVE cuddling and being petted.! Persians aren't as moody as some others it seems....

I like mixed-breed cats. Some purebred cats have 'quirks' (like Siamese, who don't like being left alone). Also I adopt from a shelter rather than buy a cat. When you adopt a 'shelter kitty' you are saving their life.
But as far as personality and looks go...Tortoiseshell cats are awesome. My mixed-breed female, Tika, is a 'tortie'.
