He's a gutless bastard. Not because of what he said (he's a bigot for that), but because he didn't stand by what he said.
If you're going to say something, then stick by it, even when the heat is on. Otherwise, you don't really believe it.

i don't think he's sincere because he's apologising for making his private thoughts public. he only backed down because its politically incorrect to say that. just like it would be politically incorrect for someone to call him the N word which i would without hesitation. see how he likes it!
