we are friends, i guess .. we have one class where
he sits in front of me & we make fun of e/o in a caring sorta way,
hahaha. (: but i don`t wanna tell him i like him, it may "freak" him out since he`s new to this love thing.
my friend told him last year that she liked him & he didn`t respond to it, AT ALL... i just don`t wanna lose him.

Continue to talk to him...try to get answers out of him during your casual conversations that you guys have every now and then...but as you've already seen, don't jump out and pop the question right in his face and expect an answer...because it does sort of scare us and puts us on the spot. Continue to make fun of each other in "your caring way(s)." Make some eye contact (but not in a staring/scary way), maybe some physical contact, show that you really like him, but make sure you still keep to your personality - because that's what will ultimately win him over, especially if he likes it. Hope this helps a bit.

When I was in high school there was a girl that I really liked but I was too afraid to ask her. Years later I found out that she really liked me too, but was also afraid to ask. By the time I found this out she had moved away and on with her life. Now its too late I missed my chance, even though I am happy with my life now I still wonder what life would have been like if I would have asked her out. One of my biggest regrets, Don't make the same mistake I made, Ask him out ! He may not have been interested in your friend because he likes YOU.

Yah, I think you should tell him, but make sure to follow up..that's the best advice I can give you. I am pretty much the same way adam is, and this sort of thing happened to me once - a girl told me in a note I liked her, and I just didn't respond, I was pretty scared, but i know i wished she would approach me again for a response, but she didn't. so yah, approach him, and follow up, see how it goes!

same prblem bout the friend thing because my friend didn't tell me untill a month ehh i was mad. but ask ur friends for some help on how to start a relationship. it might seem weird nw but let it flow and see how it goes
