Sometimes the deepest scares are the ones that aren't visible, the emotional ones. Fortunantly these scars can be healed with time with help. You should go and see a psychiatrist or councelor. People are willing to help you if you will only let them.

Honey, wanting to hurt yourself by cutting is a serious thing. you need to talk to a counselor. If you're still in school, go to your guidance counselor.. don't wait for an appointment.. camp outside the door and wait. find a trusted or favorite teacher and confide in them.. they will get you the help you need.

To answer your question..... many things... but those scars don't stop with your wrists.. they leave worse scars on your mind.

I read some of the answers that you have gotten so far and I'm sorry. Your not crazy but it sounds as though you do need help. Many people who scar themselves are depressed or have low self esteem. Remember that you are a good person and deserve to be happy. Talk to your family or someone you trust and get help. Good luck and take care.

You first need to get a phone then dial 1-800-784-2433 or 1-800-273-8255 . These people know all the best things for permenant scars.

Just out of curiousity why would want a scar??!?!?!

A desire to leave permanent scars on one's wrist may mean a person wants to self harm. If this is you, please seek help from a professional person as you may be depressed or anxious and it is much more important to address these problems rather than finding a means to hurt yourself more. Often, in later years, a person will regret leaving permanent scars on their bodies, as the depression and feelings which made them want to do this to themselves is long gone.

this question disappoints me...

why would you even ask that?
i've been living with my scars for over 9 years now,
and its people like you that cut for attention that sctually make me mad.. (and im not an angry person)..

why do you want to know?
why do you do it?
why are you making it a public display?

what makes you cry so louldly for attention?...

need to talk?.. im here...
sweet_mysery2000@yahoo.com...

just dont jump on the band wagon with the kids who do it just to be "cool" because they have a few self inflicted scars to show off... its just wrong mate..

sweetie if you're thinking about cutting, please please please find someone to talk to. Trust me, it may feel like its going to make things hurt less emotionally, it may feel like it'll make you feel a little better, but it only makes it worse and harder to deal with. So please find someone to talk to, whether its a counselor or a family member, or a friend, or anyone else who is willing to listen. There's nothing wrong with needing to talk, we all need to from time to time.
