The other middle-eastern countries would step up and go to war against Israel like they have been wanting to for so long, and then the entire middle east would go into a state of war, and because the United States is already in Iraq, World War III would ensue...
It seems to some people that the US should stop backing Israel, but if you think about it our support of Israelis is keeping the world's delicate balance of power at a point where the least amount of war would happen. Even though Iraq seems terrible and out of control (which it is), it is not the worst it could get. It could get MUCH WORSE.

Iran would nuke Israel, or at the least do a mass milarty bombing, which would start a world war!
Mid-east radicals hate America, but they hate Israel much worse.
We can not stop helping nations that support freedoms.
If you disagree, you are only allowed to because you live in a free country.

Perhaps, you do not know that Israel will not need a backup from USA, or any other country. I n fact, Israel is sufficient to protect themselves.

Isreal would descend into war, and probably be wiped out in a few months.
and Al Quida would not have that paticular bit of hype to get new members to join.

The arab world would view it as an opportune time to attack Israel and Israel would respond with nuclear force since they no longer had an ally to lose.

We'd be in deep trouble with God. Gee, we already are for what we're allowing in our country. But, we'd be in more trouble with Him if we stood aside and didn't support Isreal. Look what happened to the land of Edom for not backing them, and they were cousins.

Most likely, Israeli would instantly attack it's Arab neighbors since they are weak, disunited, and poorly equipped. At the same time, the Muslim world would probably stop hating the US once and for all.
