I wouldn't call it a date since there will be a third party there but look nice and play the part all the same. Since you really like this guy you probably won't even notice the friend there, hehe. Is this friend of yours a guy as well? Because if not then it seems you need to confirm the closeness of those two. Sometimes a friend won't tell you about their true feeling over the same person to avoid hurting you. If its a guy friend then GAME ON!!! Have fun and stay cool. Like I said before its not technically a date but just as good as one. Good luck!!!

I just read over your question again and saw that your friend is a girl :( You two need to sit and talk about the friendship between them. Hopefully the guy is just shy and needs the opportunity to get close to you. If you really like this guy then you need to sit and talk to him about his feeling towards you so you both won't get the wrong idea on things. Hear it from his mouth not hers! Good Luck girl and still enjoy yourself!!!

No it's not a date, there's three of you. It would appear that he's nervous and wants another person there for support. If you three hang out and it goes well, he'll ask you on a date with just you two. Don't make a move in front of your friend, she's supporting you, and if you did, she'll be really uncomfortable.

Sounds to me like a great start. Whether or not you call it a date, it gives you a chance to spend some time together and get to know each other better. And isn't that what's important?

woa!!! this sounds complicated!!! hmmm... well, you could tell your friend you want to kiss him, and tell her a signal of when she should get up and "use the bathroom" so when you give the signal, she'll be gone and you and lover boy will be all alone to do what ever you want to do!!!!!

Just go and enjoy yourself! Don't expect anything, stop worrying, just go with the flow and let things fall into place on their own. :)
