There are plenty of regular, unsecured credit cards for bad credit people. The best thing to do BEFORE you apply is to look at what each card offers.
Some cards have higher annual fees but lower interest, while others have lower annual fees but higher interest. If you dont think you will pay off the balance in full each month, consider the cards with lower interest but higher annual fees, and vice versa.
Also make sure it is a true, real, unsecured credit card. There are some unsecured cards that cannot be used like a regular unsecured credit card. They are called shopping cards, like the kind you get from Sears and Walmart which cannot be used anywhere else other than those particular stores.
You can do a complete review of credit cards at Credit Federal. The link is below for you.

There are two types of credit cards: secured and unsecured credit cards. You have to choose between these two, based on various factors with the stable income being the crucial one.

i have terrible credit and now since I'm trying to repair my credit i now have 3 credit cards (one is enough) i have a Orchard Bank,First Premier and a Continental credit card.....please keep in mind the fees are high but i think it's worth it to rebuild credit....BTW the First Premier card rate is only 9.9% rate which is pretty good I've only had that card less than a month and they already reported me to the credit bureau with a excellent rating

THe best thing to do is fix your credit by paying off what you owe. If you have past debt why do you want more credit.
Try to cut back on spending and save some money for emergency. Watch the Susy Orman show or buy her book to teach about finances.

Apply for one where you already have money in the (prepaid) account. It would help you get a good credit history if you can control it.
