I have never read anywhere in the bible where it says if you commit suicide you go to hell. But it does say our body is Gods temple. So we should take care of it. But only God knows the answer to that question.

Nowhere does the Bible address the topic of whether people who commit suicide will not be saved. Christ Himself was tempted to commit suicide - Mark 4:6 and Luke 4:9 - but, as with all temptations, He resisted this one.
God desires that all should be saved and it is the general direction of a life, rather than a last despairing act, that determines whether a person will be saved in heaven. Many people who commit suicide are not in their right minds and even secular law often considers a person who is out of his or her mind to be not guilty.
Only God, who knows the heart of every man and woman, can be their judge.

Most Christians believe when suicide is committed in full knowledge and deliberate consent it is a sin and will send a person to hell.
While suicide (or any kind of murder) is always a grave matter, people who commit suicide may not always have full knowledge of what they're doing and therefore not consenting. Drugs can definitely impair one's thinking, as can other things, such as diseases, intense pain, or anguish.
Therefore, suicide is not automatically a ticket to hell.
God knows your heart.
We are commanded by Christ not to judge others so we leave final judgment to God who alone knows each person's heart.
Cheers!

I hope you don't believe the bible is the word of god. Cause if you do its a shame that you dont know the answer to this.
The bible doesn't say anything about suicide. It talks about murder and respecting your body. It never specifically says one thing about suicide other than that Judas committed suicide. There is no condemnation of his suicide.
If you are going with the "thy body is a temple" theory, then I would think suicide is a bad thing according to the god. However it says you only burn for blasphemy.

Contrary to popular belief, the Bible does not specifically say that people who commit suicide go to hell. What it "does" say is that the wages of sin is death... murder (even murdering one's self) is a sin... however, it also says that the Gift of God is eternal life... the conclusion I reach then is that a Christian who commits suicide would probably not go to hell... however... a Christian would have to be pretty desperate to go that far...
Beyond that, I'd have to say anyone who goes to that length without the "insurance policy" offered to Christians is in a bad state

As far as I know, suicide is not mentioned directly in the Bible as a sin with the consequence of hell.
It has become an understanding that only God has the right to give and take life. That if we end our lives before our natural death that we have played God. We cannot know what our life may bring and when someone is in a deep despair they may choose to end their life...instead of turning to God. That is the sin.
As far as that person going to hell...only God knows the answer to that.

To kill the body is to kill the soul. Only God and your self has the power to distroy the soul. When you were born,God's gift to you was life.In this gift of life he also give you a soul whereas you will never die. The Bible says the flesh is weak but the soul is forever. If a person takes his life, You are taking away the great gifts that God give you. I am Indian and it is the beleif of my people. Also it goes in what the Bible teaches us. Hope this helps!

God is the judge...not man. His thoughts are far above our thoughts...Isa 55:8. God takes into consideration the situation that someone was born into...and where he comes from....and what he knows and does not know. Psalm 87:5,6...John 9:41...Luke 12:48
