Ok here are my more specific problems:

1.) My hair is soooooooo dried out and breaking all the time. It's also losing shine and not holding volume.

2.) My hair doesn't work unless i shower it in the morning, but i cant because i have to get the chlorine out right after practice. I dont want to shower twice a day though- it's already dry enough.

1- Use a chlorine remover shampoo- go to a local sallys beauty store.. It really does work.
2- Deep condition your hair at least once a week.. after a shower, leave conditioner in for at least 10 minutes and rinse or buy some deep conditioning. Also- you could buy the new time renewal conditioner

I use to have the same problem in High School when I was on the swim team, Before you get into the Pool wet your hair with plain water with no clorine and put Conditioner in your hair but dont wash it out. it will protect your hair from the clorine while making your hair soft

You hair will get wet no matter what you wear on your head. Make sure you use Clarifying shampoo to remove the chlorine afterwards.

I guess you use a swim cap that doesn't let water in. Like those rubber ones, but those are kinda hard 2 get on....
