I think you are asking if there is really a "reason" for everything that happens? Personally, I belive that there are reasons behind everything, even if we may never know what those reasons may be.

I happen to believe that certain things may alter my chosen path during the day, and I may never know who I encounter that really needed to see me that day. Or, maybe because I am doing something I didn't intend to do, it could alter another person's course that day.

It is hard to believe for many people, that there are reasons behind everything. We can't always explain it. We might not WANT to explain it, because we may have to make some tough assumptions about who we are and why we are on this earth to begin with.

I find it comforting to think that I have a heavenly Father who watches out for me, guides my steps, and keeps me safe.

anyhow, I don't think we have a planned destiny, our worlds revolve around free will. I can choose to kill homeless people, but its not my destiny, its me curing the homeless situation. if it applies to one situation it would apply to all. in other words, if its destiny that I fall in love with jane doe, then its also destiny that jeffery dahmer at man dick.
