I mean seriously, why are they all cooped up in some little cages when all they want to do is soar? They must reach for the sky and spread their wings to fly, fly. BIRDS SHOULD BE FREEEEEEEEEEE!!!

i agree with ya i think all birds should be free. they have mean people capture and put them in a little tiny cage. it's pretty cruel don't you think? they shoud have the whole world to fly around in and explore. if they become a victim of a bigger bird, hey that's how it is and thats how it was before humans became.
let birds be free!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

has any1 heard of a flight cage?? its a special cage U can let them live & custom 1's R really made from a spare room & U can build from there. I'd prefer free birds 2, but in certain cases of tropicals U can't just turn them loose around OH. a frienda mine had a macaw that rode on his shoulder & 1 day he 4-got 2 clip the wings & when the friend started yelling the bird spooked & flew away thinking he was yelling @ him. that bird was never caught again & 2 this day we don't know whether or not the bird's still alive.

Absolutely! I am sick of the high prices i sometimes have to pay for birds to have as mates for my flock! I would support free birds

I hate small cages too and I think it cruel, :All my birds are in flying high aviaries in natural settings with streams waterfalls and lots of plants just like nature. You may not realize but captive bred birds cannot re-assimilate to the wild. Especially budgies and cockatiels which i keep. The reason is the mutations that have occurred. They are no longer invisible in the real habitat and that leaves them vulnerable to predators.

Also some specie of bird are extinct in the wild due to so called progess and industrialization. It is only the v=bird lovers that have managed to save this specie from total anhilation. So not all bird keeping is bad.

Most pet birds are bred in captivity and wouldn't know what to do if they were in the wild. A preditor (eagle, hawk, etc) would probably quickly kill them.

I think birds should be free.
They look so much more beautiful in the wild but please take the time to feed a pigeon or two once in a while but not in the same area.

Me too. I wish I could fly like the birdies. I have guineas that I let free range, and they can fly.

no. some birds have to be kept in captivity. if you left a budgie free it would get killed because of an eagle or falcon.

yup. it's totally wrong for them to be in a small cage. they should be in the rainforest with the rest of their family members and friends. but the whole FREEEEEEEEE! part is a little too much. but yes i agree with you.
