At Max Volume and Max Bass?!? I don't think they make headphones that good for under $30.

If $30 is your hard ceiling there's a Phillips in-ear headphone that I heard is decent.

Sorry, yet high quality DOES have a cost, and that is no longer that low. If actual high quality is an argument, please choose for respected manufacturers only which includes B&W, Sennheiser (maximum cheap), Shure, Grado, Denon, AKG, Audio-Technica, Etymotic or Beyerdynamic. issues like V-Moda, Klipsch, Sony, Panasonic, JVC and Philips are only "ok-ish" certainly. Please do no longer fall a sufferer to style upload-ons by ability of procuring for Sol/Republic/Revolution, Noontec Zoro's, Benetton, a-jays, iFrogz, Marley, Fanny Wang, Razer, Karl Kani, WESC, Turtle, JH, Dr.Dre/Beats/Solo, Ludacris/Soul, Koss, Skullcandy, woman GaGa, Skullcrushers, Monsters nor Bose, because of the fact they are ALL heavily overhyped and overpriced "style blingbling gimmicks" with a very damaging longevity and sound high quality, no longer something (and people who attempt to declare they are sturdy do no longer know something approximately high quality besides!), BE THEM fake OR no longer! additionally, please do no longer choose for the overly thumping bass that only distorts each little thing, please concentration on sturdy SOUND high quality ordinarily rather.

Those look like they should be fine. Any 30 dollar pair of headphones should be a pretty good one. The question is how comfortable they'll be.

Sennheiser or Shure make some decent ones. Check out Crutchfield's website.

Try turning down the volume on your Ipod a little. Both your headphones and your eardrums will last longer. ;)

My husband got me a pair for Christmas, the brand is SkullCandy, and they sound really good. They're on-ear, though, not in-ear.

And you want to be careful about listening to your music too loud, or you'll be shopping for hearing aids next!
