about a half hour before a workout have a protein bar make sure it has about 15 to 25 grams of carbs, then immediately after your workout have a protein shake with about 30 carbs. remember after a workout your body needs fuel to repair muscle tissue, this is very important inorder to keep muscle and also build muscle.

creatine is no good it causes kidney failure...i was on it and trust me don't go on it itll jus make you gain weight. get some whey protein and take glutemine.
