Wash your face twice a day, with ordinary soap and water, but don't wash too often or scrub too roughly.
Apply an anti-acne cream or lotion. Over-the-counter topical products containing benzoyl peroxide, sulfur, or resorcinol help to control acne by drying the skin and promoting peeling.
Consider a product containing tea tree oil at a 10% to 15% strength; it can be an effective alternative to benzoyl peroxide. Wiped on twice a day, this solution is antibacterial and can help to dry out active lesions.
Use only "oil-free" cosmetics. They are usually labeled "noncomedogenic" or "nonacnegenic." Be sure to wash off cosmetics with soap and water every night before going to bed. And avoid cosmetics altogether if you have severe acne.
Try a daily chamomile tea rinse. Make a strong chamomile tea, allow it to cool, and wipe the liquid over your face each morning. It makes an effective daily rinse because it both tones and cleanses.
Avoid tight-fitting nonabsorbent clothes, especially exercise outfits and sweatbands, which tend to trigger acne. If you can't avoid them, at least change out of them as soon as you can.
Stay away from "trigger" foods that you feel may set off your outbreaks. Even though there's no proof that food causes acne, it can't hurt to avoid any potential problems. Try eliminating the "junk" fats (called trans fatty acids, like the hydrogenated oils) and replacing them with the "healthy fats" like those found in flaxseed and fish oils.
Don't pick at your face. Squeezing and picking pimples and other acne blemishes can increase inflammation and result in permanent scarring.

I felt your pain...I had acne through puberty and an additional 10 years after. I had been to a few dermatologists but they just wanted to dry my skin up to the point it was flakey all the time or red with rashes (I have sensitive skin too). After doing some online research and testing of many many products of my own, I can tell you that there is no pill or cream out there that you can use for a week and it will forever get rid of your outbreaks.
But do not be discouraged, I did discover something that I believe has not been widely publicized because no company can patent it and make lots and lots of money off of people like you and me. It's called Pantothenic Acid - a fancy name for Vitamin B5. Go ahead and Google it...you will see a lot of references to curing acne. I was skeptical as with everything, but my skin has never been so soft and clear since I was probably 12 (I'm 26 now).
The one thing you have to remember when taking this vitamin supplement is that you must take it in high doses. You can buy it at any vitamin store, but only buy it in 1000mg (1gm) per pill strength. I found it online the cheapest.
To start, the recommended program starts you out with 3-5 grams a day for about 5 days. This helps your body get acclimated to the vitamin. You should start to notice a difference after 2 or 3 days, I even noticed increased energy. After that increase your dosage to 10 grams a day. I know it sounds like a lot, to take 10 pills a day, but think about how much you want clear skin and that should get you past it. The recommended program has you taking 10 grams for 3 months before backing off to 3-5 for maintenance. I actually only took 10 grams for a month and now am just maintaining with 5-6 grams a day and its working just fine. I did miss a day of pills and immediately started to breakout again so this is one of those things you must be faithful with.
Expect to shell out about $25 a month on 1000mg Pantothenic Acid. A small, small price to pay when you think of all the money wasted on the products out there.
There are very little side effects of taking these high doses. The only thing I would recommend is to take 3 pills with each meal, and one with a snack, otherwise you may get a little gas or slight diahrea. Nothing major though and by taking with meals it eliminates that problem.
If I help just one person with this recommendation, writing this would have been more than worth it. I know how frustrating it is to have acne, but it doesn't have to be for any one else out there who trys this simple yet effective treatment.

What i recommend you is to see a dermatologist, because they can give you the prescription for the product i recommend you, The name is Roaccutane, that product will permanently remove all your pimple of your face for life. The treatment takes from 6 to 9 months aprox, depending on your skin condition, if it is severe or not. The dermatologist use that product if you keep having acne problems, because it is that good that will makes you do not visiting them again. So if you go to a dermatologist i recommend you that you tell him or her that you want that product, because they will start with soft ones and on the end you will have to use that one.
Take in consideration that the treatment may give you in the beginning some headaches and if you have an oily skin, you will feel it dry.
I understand your situation, because i have the same problem and i know how it feels. That makes you to stay every day on your house because of your embarasing. So go direct to the point to your dermatologist and tell him about the Accutane and you will see.
Good Luck.

It is important to use skin friendly products and not pinch the pustules so that there are no scars formed. A good soap like Neutrogena or Cetaphil is recommended. Mild oil free skin creams should only be used . This link should provide more remedies.
