i dont believe that high school cliques are of that important, i read an article recently saying that the cliques you are in in highschool make you who you are, and i disagree completly, just because you are a jock doesnt mean you cant hold a degree in computer graphic and design. i just wanted to know what everyone else thought

I feel that these cliques are started to make people feel better about themselves..i was never part of one so i have no idea i had friends and crowds of followers....thats what they are a follow the leader type group..they are only important to those who make it that way..some people branch off from those people as they get older others stick together and think that thats all they have...I say be urself if others can't accept that its because they dont accept themselves.............so no they only matter to them

um yeah I am a high school senior right now...and i know for a fact that highschool cliques doooo nooooot matter..I have my friends and am very liked but I dont go out of my way to gain friends. People are people and you meet them wherever you go. To be honest, they don't even matter, so how would a clique determine your future? I agree that the article is complete crap. I wonder where they got their information.

No they're not because after highschool we go on to different goals and life is totally different than highschool While I still have many of the friends I had in school and growing up we all have changed, matured, and have added new friends to the mix. There are in fact a few in my circle of friends whom were not in my "group" (druggies and dweebs LOL) in highschool but after highschool we found ourselves in some of the same places and frienships developed.

High school cliques mean nothing. I know alot of jocks from my class who are drunks and lowlifes and in school were voted "Most likely to succeed and Most handsome". It's all crap!

well, i know that my friends have changed who i would be a lot, but i don't think that it is a definate thing and it determines the entire rest of your life. i do think that your friends have a huge influence on you, so they can change you from who you would be if you had never met them.

cliques are so dumb.i really don't label ppl but ppl seem 2 label me as punk.i just think I'm me and that's it.
