I like to think of Jesus as driving the little cars that drive in front of the large tractor trailers with the flags, the yellow light and the "wide load" sign. I picture him with his arm out the window, his hair flying wild in the breeze, listening to the Doobie Brothers.

Jesus is around through his people. Just like when He walked on the earth in flesh, crucifixion is happening, only verbally. Christians are hated by everyone that is not a Christian. Think about that for a second. Things really do not change. The years change and that is all. Christians do all sorts of jobs. Their one mainstay is Jesus.

He is around now. He is in His
Spirit filled children. And they are continuing His mission by seeking and loving that which was lost and by teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which is believing, repentance. baptism in His name, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in an unknown language. This is for all of us, today, tomorrow, until the of redemption.

He would spread the Good News just as He did before. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
Oh, and make no mistake: He is around today!

I think he would be a counselor or a relief worker maybe - I think he would choose a profession where he would be able to reach the most people not just wealthy people but those who are down on their luck or in dire circumstances or those who are shunned from society just as he did originally....

"And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS" (Revelation 19:11-16).

So, let's see, that's kill all who oppose Him, rule over everyone else, and then wang with an iron rod anyone who disobeys while He's ruling.

If Jesus was around now, he would have NOT died on the cross, the Christian faith would NOT exist, and his name would be lost!
And you question would have little, or NO meaning!
