I really like this guy, and my mates say he likes me too. I catch him looking at me a lot, but when i look at him either one or both of us looks away. My friends see him looking at me too from time to time. I don't talk to him a lot, and when my friend and i are both around him he sometimes annoys her.... Is he trying to make me jealous or does he just plain not like me? He does already know I like him.

I'd say from what you write, that you shouldn't worry about it. Sounds like high school stuff. If it is then you need to focus more on your studies. Looking at someone and their looking back is a sign that they have some interest in you. But, there are still some concerns to work out in any kind of relationship.

Well im in the same situation except im the guy. He likes you. Thats obvious. Why else would he look at you and then "stare away". If he didnt like you he wouldnt have a problem keeping eye contact with you.

He might like but is very nervous when ever he's around you. and some1 probably told him girls don't like it when you stare at them, but he cant help it because ( i don't know maybe he thinks your beautiful or something) and he doesn't want you to think that he was starring at you. and maybe you could just like start talking to him more just about anything and everything. and its ok now for the girl to ask the guy out. =)

He likes you. He's just trying to make u jealous around your friends. Why don't you try talking to him when your friend isn't around? Maybe he's shy that's why he acts silly.

Maybe he is just afraid to make the first move. Try confronting him about something..even make small talk. Maybe make a date to get coffee and then find out how he feels. But he definitely likes you!
