you just need to get tyo that point!
what is important is that you need to trust yourself and to increase your selfestime. After that..... you will see that there are a lot of girls that want to date you too!!!

Good luck!

Learn how to find your centre of consciousness; this will enable you to deal with anxiety better. Go to: www.relax7.com/7.php and there is a section on anxiety in the blogs of Shan Eris at:www.myspace.com (http://www.myspace.com/7087317) Then I would book an escort (yeah, I know) and take her out on a trial date, as a desensitisation exercise, possibly repeating the process, but only once or twice more, and I would choose different people and ask them how they would like to be treated, and what you should and shouldn't do. Don't build up your expectations for your first real date, though, just be yourself, ask questions and be attentive and well mannered. You could try internet dating sites and chatrooms at first, but be careful!

Poor Mikey. Breath. The first thing that I tell myself everyday as I am getting ready for work is "You are beautiful." I suggest doing this. Pump yourself up. You need to know that majority of the time the person that you are going to ask on a date is just as anxious as you are. In order to get an outcome you must first act. It is not so much the situation that you are in but the reaction that you have to it. To insure a better reaction I would say to first in vision the situation. Think about what you will say..and think of possible answers. It is normal to have a little anxiety...don't let it rule your life.
Good luck!!

Try being yourself. Don't worry what others think or how the date will end. People often find themselves having anxiety if they are suddenly thinking of what that person is going to think of them or how the date will go. If it goes good, then good for you. If not, try again.

did the meds help? if so...use them! dont look it as taking meds to help you date...you are taking the meds to better relax and enjoy life. the dating will fall into place once you feel more secure in your own skin.
all the best :)
