Christians who hate Pagans...?
This is a simple question, no offense intended; If you, as a "true christian", but someone who hated Pagans and believed we are all devil worshipers, Had a heart attack in public, and a Pagan performed C.P.R. on you and saved your life, would you try to learn a little more about Paganism, and maybe stop hating Pagans? Would you and the person who saved your life become friends?

Alot of Christians don't feel this way about Pagans. You have to stop listening to all that fundamentalist nonsense about abominations, Hell, and worship of Satan. Personally, I find that most Pagans are very intuitive and spiritual, and I respect their beliefs ... even though they are different than mine.

And by the way, I'd be friends with anyone who was nice, intelligent, and enjoyable to be around regardless of their religion or if they saved me from a heart attack.

Why do you think Christians hate Pagans? There are people doing "good" in all faith practices, all nationalities, all colors of skin, all sizes, genders, ages, IQ's, etc. Some of the most wonderful & spiritual people I have known are Sufi (muslim) and Hindu. I have only conversed with a few Pagans/Wiccans, and not known them personally.

But, no matter how good your act, or how tender and loving your heart, the truth is the truth, and once you are 'enlightened' to it, there is no way to deny it. It is that simple, friend. We have to tell the truth.

I would bet you that 95% of Christians do not hate anyone. But they DO hate the enemy of God, Satan, and all his works on Earth. And some of his works include leading people away from the One True and Holy God, and away from God's gift of Salvation through Christ.

So, we know something you don't know. And we want you to know it, so you, too can experience the light of the truth and be set free. But you, like me, have the free will to make your own decisions, and you have decided to follow this practice which is an abomination to God and you, like me, will be judged accordingly when you die.

Even the holiest and most righteous of Christians....no ESPECIALLY the holiest and most righteous of Christians is fully aware of the filthy wickedness of his heart before God, and it is this humility and remorse that brings us to our knees seeking forgiveness and salvation - that we might be 'born again' - this time with a chance at being pleasing to Holy God through the shed blood of His Son.

Christians should never have hatred in their hearts for anyone - that's pretty tough when it comes to baby rapers and the such. But we cannot harbor hatred, but rather pity and mercy.

Even though you don't want it, I pity Pagans and Muslims and Hindus and Buddhists and a whole bunch of so-called-Christians. That is what JESUS wants of me, and He is my Lord, so, well, sorry that offends so many.....

I don't think that most or even "a lot" of Christians hate Pagans at all. But in all honesty its difficult to have someone believe that you are spiritually lost, ignorant or just plain stupid and need to be "changed" in order to be okay, and still believe that this person has doesn't have any ill will towards you.

Its also probably hard to believe that someone who honestly thinks that you have some sort of relationship with their version of ultimate evil can still truly see you as a loving caring human being at all.

And its equally difficult to know that someone feels these things about you and not feel negatively towards them. How could you not be offended by someone who believes that either you yourself are evil or that your closely held, hard won and greatly loved beliefs are evil?

I would like to put this "Christians who hate Pagans..." in the context of "universal love" not hate. We are all gifts from Yahweh and Yahweh loves us very much because he created us and in fact we are the masterpiece of his creation. I would like to encourage you and I to read and reflect on the message of His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI for Lent 2007. I wish you all that humanity's hatred if there is be turned into a universal and brotherly love especially when the whole world at present is becoming into a global village. Let us all unit and not divide otherwise the enemy would overcome us!

True Christians don't hate pagans. If a pagan saved my life, I would want to save his/hers. I would try to introduce them to Jesus. He could save them forever....

Christians don't hate anyone. We simply have a faith in God and in Jesus and don't mind sharing it with the rest of the world. We don't force anyone to listen or believe in it. We all have choices. If I had a heart attack I would certainly hope that anyone with knowledge of CPR would help me regardless of their faith. As far as learning about your faith. learning and believing are 2 separate matters and I would certainly listen to your opinion if you were willing to listen to mine. I have several friends who are not Christians.
