My ex used to get that when he drank Dark Rum. It was because he had high blood pressure and when he drank it raised his blood pressure even higher to probably a near heart attack. I think its from high blood pressure myself but I suppose it could be other things. It sounds worth seeing a doctor for.

My friend use to do that all the time. She was blond with fair skin and I think it had something to do with the yeast that is in beer. It never stopped her from drinking it though and nothing ever happened any further then that. I think a lot of people have that reaction to yeast but they are darker skinned and it is less noticeable. I wouldn't worry about it too much unless you get other symptoms.

Allergies.
More than likely to molds (penicillin).
I myself can no longer drink beer. I am allergic to any mold or mold derivative. Yeast (bread), penicillin, mildew, and the "molds" that occur from fermentation, so beer, wine, and liquor are out.
But I will occasionally take a benadryl and then have a few cold ones. Life is too short to totally do without.

Probably means that you've fallen into a poison oak bush while drunk.
