In installing a hot tub inside is there any thing I need to do first .I was going to use green sheet rock on the walls do I need to put up a vapor barrer first under the rock? like a plastic sheeting I am also going to install a high cfm vent fan to vent out through the Roof And it is a slab house if anyone knows anything that can be of help please let me know Thanks Marty

Green board is fine. Use a gloss paint as well. However if I was doing it I would use ceramic tile on walls and ceiling. This would be the ideal method in moisture problems and would look awesome with a nice tile pattern.

Yes that sounds a great idea. Just make sure the vent is adequate.

I would install a 4" fresh air return to the room.

The exhaust fan will not be a benefit without a source of air.

I wanted to do that but was afraid of molding. steam sticks to the walls but if you got a really good fan it might wook good luck

As long as you have adequate ventilation you should have no problems. ( good ventilation means air in as well as out)
