Your about my height but weight more than me. I'd say skinny bordering on chubby. But that also depends how much lean body mass you have in comparison to body fat.

Hi there, Since you are 5'8 and around 160 pounds, you are neither fat or skinny. You're good at where you at.

I don't think you should put on any more pounds because it's unhealthy, and you don't want to get stretchmarks, it's irreversible.

If you look up a weight loss calculator online, enter your height and weight, your ideal weight will be 150 pounds. Your activity level and body frame doesn't make a difference.

So stay healthy, eat right, excercise, and if you want to to lose weight, decrease your calorie intake, and excercise for at least an hour each day, also because it's good for you. Try some cardio, I think that's best. Good luck! ^_^

PS - If you are a great fan of the PS2, try EyeToy Kinetic. Freakin' awesome game to work out to, the guys like the combat zone.

You could stand to lose a few pounds... but you aren't morbidly obese.

160 lbs isn't the issue as much as the 35 inch waist. Thats about right for 6'3" If you had appropriate muscle mass, you'd be dead on the upper limit of athletic. That waist size says that its fat, not muscle.

Some might put it: You aren't overweight, you're undertall.

And... you are still growing.

Start running every morning. Build up to 3 miles a day. You'll be fine.

Well little James you don't seem fat for your height. I am guessing that a lot of guys your age weigh less? It is all a matter of perception. Do you think you are fat, or skinny? How would you feel best? I am a female 5'3" and I weigh 145lbs. Some people may call me chunky by reading the description but I think I look good and I feel good about myself for now.

It depends on how your body is shaped and where you are keeping the weight. That's a little hard to tell with those two figures. A picture might help. It SOUNDS like you are quite average, not super skinny but not overweight. If your really concerned about it then join a sport or something, it might be fun!

You're not so much chubby as a little out of shape. Gaining weight to see what its like isn't necessary. Fat people are treated like crap and are punished meanly. Its wrong but painfully true.

I think a better experiment is to see what it would be like to have a strong, fit, body.

For you height I don't feel you are fat, I think you are at a healthy weight. However I would discourage gaining alot of weight. It is harder to get off than it is to put on, not to mention the health risks. Try checking your body mass index(bmi) it can give you somethings to think about. Take it from a fluffy person for years, extra weignt it is not all it is cracked up to be.

First of all, your 15.. .and it would be perfectly normal to still have a little "baby fat". But you sound like youre a very normal size. I would not recommend gaining weight to see what being fat is like, because it can be damaging to your health and also very hard to lose.
Love yourself the way you are!

At 12 I was 5'10" and 190. Now I'm 6'5" and 190. you'll be fine. getting fat isn't a good idea, its to much stress on your fat little heart. besides, our American youth are a bunch of fatasses anyway, do something unique and be healthy. chicks dig it.

if you have a small or medium frame, you are above the average range, making you slightly chubby. if you have a larger frame, you are in the average range.
