Oh, that's cute. A girl asks "How do you ask someone out?" and the first answer she gets is "Don't--make him be a man!"

This is exactly what I saw in the early years of the feminist movement. Do you think a woman should be able to ask a man out on a date? "YES!!!!!" Would you ever ask a man out on a date? "NOT ON YOUR LIFE!!!!!" No, it isn't that you want him to be a man. It's because you're afraid of rejection. Just like a guy is. So don't ask him out for the purpose of declaring your undying love for him. Ask him out for the purpose of having fun with a friend. And do it as many times as you have to. Things will develop without you pushing for them, or they won't. Read up on body language and send him the signals. See if he picks them up. Stand a little too close, play with your hair. Learn the tricks. That gives you a safe margin to back off if he isn't interested, and you didn't risk anything. Girls are better at this than guys, so I wonder why they don't do it more.

What is the problem? If there is mutual like then just say, would
you like to do something together. That will give the person a
chance to make a suggestion if they want to. If I liked someone & they liked me I would sure say yes rather quickly!

Don't..Let him be the MAN..not you, other wise you will wonder if he was just doing it to be nice.If he asks you, you'll know he likes you,but until he does, stay self contained.
