The male and female will be in a conversation and then the female gets stubborn about something and then the male gets all stubborn and they get into this heated argument and then the man grabs the woman and pulls her close (roughly) and runs his fingers through her hair. Meanwhile...she's struggling to free herself but she really likes his forcefulness and dominance. He's looking hard into her eyes and then lays one long, hard, hot passionate kiss on her lips and leaves her breathless and speechless and this calms her down until the next time. WHY don't men do this ? If they do...I think I'm missin' out on somethin' ! =(

I think y'all are missin' my point. I am not really speaking of a stranger. I am talking about your husband or boyfriend and if you know each other well enough and there's trust, then there would be no worry for the r@pe thing. I mean like when you get ino a stubborn argument and then the man or woman grabs the other one and unleashes some of that frustration right then and there. Haven't you ever been frustrated and irritated by someone but it's because you want them really bad and there's some misunderstanding between you two and so the tension mounts and you're so attracted to them bu aren't sure how to fix the miscommunication or misunderstanding...all you know is that the other person is just as stubborn as you are and you've rarely encountered someone like that and it attracts your, arouses you...wakes you up and you just want to grab them and devour their lips and body ??? I have...but didn't act on it and neither did they but you saw the desire in each others' eyes. See ??

Except for the argument part and her fighting him off (which to me is the old -"good girls don't crap) I also like the idea of a man not bring Mr. Tender and Sweet. However, you can forget it. They have all been taught that they must ask first and that we must all be equal and that relationships are 50 50 and now men seem to want us to be on top, to initiate sex almost all of the time and if you want to be dominated in any way, I strongly suggest you buy a pitt bull.

Feel for ya sister. Got the same problem myself. However, if you do ever find it (and it actually is around, in some forms) don't expect the Scarlet O'Hara thing. The romance novels really are pretty goofy. I don't want to wear lace so I'm not gonna ask my guy to go quite that far either.

No, they don't. See, we read the romance novels which are written by women (for women) and which tell what we really want. However, they (men) get their ideas of what women like from watching porn movies (written by men, for men) - which basically have the woman moaning and writhing in ecstasy when she's actually doing all the work. Half the time, I can't figure out why the woman is so excited when the man isn't even touching her. Then again, they'd probably say our romance novels are one-sided too. Still, the guys get what they want in romance novels - they just have to work at it. I thought guys liked a challenge?

There is a reason that this is called fiction ...

The answer is that it is mainly the woman's fault for not acting as feminine as the heroines in those books or movies do ...

In reality a girl would not let a man pull her forcefully ...and if she did her gf's would tell her to dump him. She would be fighting him ... for real.. kicking and screaming.

You are missing out on something ... reality

Because men (at least the ones I know) don't often read romance novels.
I have to tear out the page, highlight the appropriate lines and leave it on his pillow for my man to get it. And even then it only works 50% of the time!

First it makes better drama than relationship maintenance.

Secondly its a pretty risky move for the man to make in the midst of an argument.
If it works, great. If not she is going to be even more upset with him

It's a romance novel hun. They are novels written to tantalize a woman's fantasy and give her a feeling of 'maybe prince charming is out there.' In truth he is but, it takes time to find him. They are not good tools to try and learn how men actually work.

you described me to a tee, i used to not be like that, but realized that the juice is much sweeter when i treat my lady like she is my queen, so she loves the way i touch her, and it makes her crazy, and i get the returns from my passion towards her 10 fold, any man that behaves differently is a fool, but this is good for me, as long as the rest treat women like they are nothing, it makes me more appealing, and you are missin out, but also realize that you need to give in order to receive
