"Creation" is not a religious term! It is being used by theists to describe a belief as to how the universe came into being, but such usage does not therefore mandate that "creation is a faith related matter". The universe could have been created by way of the Big Bang, evolving from that point of origin into the cosmos which we view today. The endeavor to explain our mortal circumstances, including the means by which the cosmos came into being, has long been the work of logical minds to our benefit.

Because creation is logical. Intelligent Design has many things proving it.
And everything is based on faith to some extent. You driving in your car means you have faith that the car won't blow up on you. You don't know it for sure, but that assumption is based on previous experiences and evidence. So many people think faith is blind.

Because it really is NOT a faith related matter. It takes a lot more faith to believe in evolution than it does to believe an intelligent being made it all. All evolution is is an attempt to take God out of the picture.

I don't have a clue why people try to explain the creation myth. It is a myth - not fact. The hard facts of paleontology don't support it, so it is, and will always be, inexplicable. Good only for people with a faith-based existence, not for those with a fact-based existence.

Strictly speaking, it is not. It is a way of looking at the avalible evidence and drawing the conclusion that life did not spring from non-life. There are good (and bad) reasons for holding a creationist point of view.

They fear scientific truth because it is stronger than their epistemology, so they pretend to try to be like science.
Actually, they are not trying to explain their lame stories logically as much as they are trying to corrupt science and redefine it so that it suits their weak evidence.
They know that they can only win by cheating, and so they do.
