But my friend has a big mouth (no offense to her but she does) and I just CAN`T stop talking about him and if I tell him he will be all like weird around me and I don`t want that to happen! Should I stop liking him? and if I tell my friend she`ll make us hug and all that lovey dovey stuff I wouldn`t be ready for that stuff yet!

Ah, I've been in this situation before. If I were you, I would just keep it to myself. Trust me-- the same thing has happened to me before with my best friend (who I am no longer friends with but that's not the point). I told him I liked a girl, and every time he saw her he kept trying to push me towards her, shouting "FACE YOUR FEARS! FACE THEM!!!" Profound advice if it weren't for the yelling. Then later on, I wrote the girl a poem and hid it in her locker. The whole situation spiraled out of control when everyone started talking about the note, and when I told my friend it was me, he blabbed it to a bunch of people. His pitiful excuse was "peer pressure". There were other times, too, but it'd take me hour to type it all.

So from expreience, I'd advise you to not tell your blabbermouth friend. Things could get ugly. Try talking to someone else that you CAN trust, like a school counselor, your mom, or a sibling (if you can trust your sibling[s]).

I don't think that you should tell your friend because she might tell the guy that you like. So don't even tell her that you like someone and technically you wouldn't even be lying to her. If you actually do tell her that you like someone. she might keep on asking you who it is and then you're going to end up telling her so just try not to say anything about the guy. Instead of talking to people ABOUT him, maybe you could try talking TO him and get to know him better. If you get him to be your friend and to hang out with you more, maybe he will start liking you and he can even ask you out. Hope this advice help you. ~Good luck~

Then don't tell her. You have other friends, right? Tell them instead.
