I have severe chronic fatigue syndrome. It was affecting my work. I am now unemployed for the first time ever. I need to get a job very bad. But I am so fatigued that I fear missing work or not being who I used to be. Past coworkers would say that they would get tired watching me, or that I worked circles around them. I was an awesome employee. But my newest doctor that ran test, now put me on a sugar free diet for being a new diet controled diabetic. What can I do to get my energy up. HELP, PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you have ideas as to what I can do to over come this chronic fatigue? I am to the point of getting depressed because of being debilitated by it. I am already taking an antidepressant. Sugesstions would be so much appriciated. THANK YOU, in advance.

A healthy diet, lots of water, good nights rest, and a good multi vitamin may help. I take Mega Men from GNC. They also have Ultra Mega Womans. These are readily absorbed into the blood stream and are time released. Excecise give you enables your body to store energy as well. Sleep with a sound machine to ensure REM sleep. Ensure that you are having two to three bile movements per day. If not, eat Fiber One cereal once a day with 2% milk.

Stay away from artficial stimulants and coffee and switch to hot Green Tea.

I'd try snacking every couple of hours on fruit or nuts or crackers ect...

I hope this helps.

I've been battling Chronic Fatigue Syndrome for 4 years now and when I got this system I was probably at the lowest point of my life. I had no energy at all and was in constant pain. I hated myself and hated the doctors who all shrugged it off and told me I just needed to take it easy or that I simply needed to have proper sleep!

This have completely changed my life. Barely 3 weeks on this system, and my brain fog and headaches are gone completely! I can now also manage to go for a 20 minute brisk walk without feeling exhausted.

Take it from a 10 year sufferer there probably will be no cure . Stay away from mean spirtited doctors . Figure on that as you get older you will add on the effects of ageing with all the terrible problems of CFS . Sorry I sound so negitive but I have tried just about everything to no avail . One ray of hope . A Dr Montoya at Stanford is doing research with a anti viral I belive its valganciclovir ? Its very expensive I have looked . 20,000 for 6 . months . Just search hhv6 + Chronic fatigue syndrome and you will get plenty of hits . Good luck soooo sick
