You don't understand evolution.
You really don't deserve any more of an answer than that. How come you're proud of your ignorance and not embarrassed?

Because it takes a while to evolve, but the thing is we are evolving. I read that the avg. shoe size for a woman 50 yrs ago, was a 4 or a 5, now it's an 8. We're also much taller, and much bigger than our ancestors were on avg. Maybe we're also evolving spirtually and mentally so that's a good thing. As for what's going to replace us we're not going to ever know that we'll be dead by then.

Idiot, man descended from ape, the next step after man is just a more efficient man, and they are not here yet. They should arrive in the next million years or so.

They walk amongst us.
Camouflage is one of their skills.
Have you read the novel "Darwins' Radio" by Greg Bear?
A nice take on "the next generation."
(Actually it's more a timescale problem... The way we're going it could still be bacteria and beetles for the next million years, the experimental line with self awareness proving to be less successful than the dinosaurs were.
And one good meteor and ALL bets are off.)

We're in the Upper Paleolithic time. We're homo sapien sapiens. We descended (directly) from hominids. Not apes - they're our cousins. Apes and humans evolved from a common ancestor that lived several million years ago.

If people understood evolution maybe you would know the answer. Modern day primates, be it gorillas, chimpnzees, humans, or monkeys, come from a common ancestor. And apes dont magically "morph" into humans. Humans right now have no need of evolving.

Humans have only been around for about 100 thousand years. We are still here because we were able to adapt to changing conditions. Evolution is not about replacing one species with another, it is about adaptation.

trying to be funny and showing a painful lack of understanding of the mechanisms of both evolution and natural selection. Ouch.
2 points for trying though.

I've known a few apes...excuse me...men in my time that seemed like they had only recently developed opposing thumbs...
We're not all fully evolved, unfortunately.

The evolutionist still are trying to figure that out.
God created man in His image. We have never been monkeys nor will we be any other life form.
