Do you know on their atheism page it says nothing about how non-believers will burn in hell forever.
How are they supposed to be saved if they're fed such evil lies by the libertards?
This is a Christian nation.

How come no matter odd and dumb I try to make myself sound I still pass for a real fundamentalists - yet if I was a fundamentalist pretending to believe in evolution I'd be exposed in seconds... why is that?

lol - even after the 2nd bit some people thought it was genuine... Its interesting that when I arrogantly proclaimed I lived in a Christian nation people assumed america because thats the way they talk - actually I live in the UK and its refreshingly secular.

Oh my god! You mean that children can go on Wikedpedia and learn that it is possible to not believe in god? Why does our country permit such an abomination? Something must be done!
Do you think the C-tards will ever understand?

The following was written when I thought you were serious. I'll let it stand. But I can't say I have much respect for you -- less than I had when I thought you were a sincere but misguided soul. Now I just think you're a jerk who's wasting our time.
_____________________________
First, the page is descriptive, not theological. Would you expect an article on auto mechanics to remind children that "non-believers will burn in hell"? Hardly. So why would you expect an article on atheism to do so?
Second, it's debatable whether this is a Christian nation or not. I'm a Christian, but there are many, many good citizens who are not. Certainly some of our current national policies are anything but Christian.
Third: children who are taught well by their parents, who have developed an appreciation for their faith, will not be harmed by reading about other beliefs, even atheism. It would be a pretty pathetic "faith" that couldn't stand up to knowledge about unbelief.
Finally, what on earth is a "libertard"?

I'm atheist and live in a mostly Christian nation. The reason it doesn't say we will burn in Hell is because it is non biased. Like the newspaper. Hell isn't a belief in Atheism, so they don't say that. Look on the Christian page and it will say about heaven and hell because it's part of what you believe.
I don't want to be saved by you or anyone else. They are not lies in my opinion. Just in yours.
You people go back on yourselves. I thought I was told by Christians that God love everyone? What is that about?

How do you know that they will burn in hell?! As far as I understand it, God decides such things, not humans. Have you, then, put yourself on God's level? Isn't that what Satan did? If you don't believe in God as Atheists don't, then they wouldn't be too concerned with hell because it would follow to them that hell doesn't exist, either. Do they mention on their Christian page in Wikepedia, that people who call themselves christian, but don't act like it, are destined to beat the Atheists to hell? How about worrying about the plank you have in your own eye instead of trying to remove the specks others have in their eyes? Oh, and by the way, I AM a Christian!

And this coming from someone whose screen name has the word "devil" in it.
This nation was founded upon Christian principles, but people in this nation do have a right to freedom of religion. If everyone was going to "hell" (or whatever bad place there is in other religions) for not following someone's religion, then we would all be damned in many, many, MANY ways. Maybe we will be, I haven't found out yet.
Don't attack (verbally OR physically) people because they don't believe what you believe. They have as much of a right to believe whatever they want as you do, whether you like it or not.

Where do you live? Because I live in the US and it is NOT a christian nation. There is this thing called freedom of religion. Means that anyone can worship anything or one they want to. Or not at all it that is their choice. As for Wikipedia not putting that bit in. Go ahead and see if you can make that edit.

That's because an encyclopaedia is supposed to present its articles from an impartial point of view, and as far as articles of religion are concerned, that means from a secular rather than Christian viewpoint. Otherwise, an atheist could rewrite Wikipedia articles to say that all theists are hopelessly misguided, naive, superstitious fools. See?

Atheism is to not believe in god or anything associated with religion, so hell is not real to atheists, thus it stands to reason there will not be anything about it on their atheist page.
If you really are religious and believe in god, it strikes me as suprising you and a lot of other people keep insulting everyone who does not believe as you do, insults are just one other form of sin and means you will be going to burn in hell forever as well unless you attend confessional.
I pity everyone who preaches things without even knowing about their own religion...

It is not a christian nation, it is a mix of religions and peoples. Wikipedia is all factual and burning in hell is definitely a religious concept. They are not being led astray.

Maybe it's because it gives oppossing views for people who want to learn ALL aspects of subjects, not just narrow minded ones.
This is a nation based on freedom of religion. It is not a Christian Nazistic nation. It is a nation where all tax payers are free to hold their own beliefs, ideas, obtain as much education as they can, be as open or closed minded as they want.
If you want a Hitler-like nation where people aren't allowed to worship AS THEY PLEASE, why don't you go to a country that allows you to be as dictatorial as you want. Then your children wouldn't be exposed to open-mindedness and free thinkers.
