How many jars of the recalled peanut butter do you have? i have THREE!!!! the brands are Skippy and Great Value from Wal-Mart...if the code on the lid has these four numbers at the beginning of the code.(2111)... take it back to the store for your refund.

Actually the brand as reported online is Peter Pan and Great Value, not Skippy

I have 8 and I thought that the brands are Peter Pan and Great Value with the code of 2111? oh well, it might be different things in different states.

It is Peter Pan. It's been recalled for salmonella. My aunt has 8. I ate some and didn't get sick. Yay for my immune system. Peanut butter jelly with a salmonella bat!

I don't think Skippy is being recalled...I just visited their website and looked on the "Peanut butter Recall" page and it said they were not involved with the salmonella scare..or whatever...
but thanks I am glad I checked my skippy's :)
I believe that Peter Pan is involved..

It's Peter Pan brand not Skippy. I don't have any we use Jif.

well that could just be acode but i'd have PARTY and make pb and j sandwatchis and look for recipes to make with peanut butter and you'll be gone with it!
