only multiplayer for any Socom (1,2,3,or Combined Assault) is online...

Combined Assault has the option of playing the single player campaign in a multil-player setting online

The only other way to do it without having internet access is to buy a router and connect both Playstations to it...and Play the multi-player via the LAN option.
