I live in Florida. Contact the Golden Retriever Breed Rescue. They have chapters over tFlorida. Your local Humane Society has the number of all Breed Rescues. They also have a website here in Florida. Google it as I forget how it is phrased. Breed Rescue Golden Retriever.

Get on your computer and google Golden breeders in your area.
I'm sorry but I dont know any in your area. I dont know what your consider reasonable but up north in New England the price for a quality Golden start at $1,000 dollars and go up from there. Same for Labs.
Good luck!

At our shelter, about 25-30% of the dogs are labs and lab mixes with quite a few goldens too. Check your local shelter at www.petfinder.com

Search petfinder.com for a rescue or shelter in your zip code. The dogs/puppies listed will cost less than from a typical breeder, come with their shots and most likely be spayed or neutered.
You can find purebred dogs this way and even better you will be saving a life!
