I have a school project were I need to make some sorbet and I need to package each flavor. Does anyone know of a place where I can purchase cardboard ice cream containers similar to the pints you would find in your local grocery store?

See if your area has a local restaurant supply store. If they don't you might want to see if you can purchase what you need from a local ice creamery. Some crafts stores might also have the containers. Good luck and have fun with your project!

you can actually call a local ice cream/restaurant (such as friendlys) and ask for a general manager, to speak with about purchasing some containers. they usually come in several sleeves (plastic bags) - like 16 or 25 sleeves per box. they usually be happy to help with something like that, because it makes them look good. obviously, the containers will have the company name on them

also, every major city has a restaurant supply store, they'll probably have them as well, styrofoam 16 oz containers hold the same amount of ice cream, but they'll break when you try to pack too much ice cream - so cardboard is the way to go.

Try a restaurant supply store, if there's one near you. You might also check something like a Gordon Food Services, again if there's one near you.

Go to your local grocery store and buy Glad Ware freezer containers. I've used them and it works for me.
