Faith is about blind acceptance without fact supporting it. Wikipedia is about facts (at least in intention). If you believe Adam and Eve were cast out of Eden for eating fruit of tree of KNOWLEDGE of good and evil, than one could suppose that religion is against any type of serious probing or questioning or...knowledge.
It isn't so much that smart people don't believe and dumb people accept, it is more like the more you know, the more intelligent questions you can ask. The more intelligent questions you ask about religion, faith, spirituality, the more you realize that there are no answers and the faith is not supported. That doesn't mean that some don't believe, it just means that people's spiritual journeys and beliefs are personal and have nothing to do with who you pay to make you feel good and fuzzy about what a nice person you are.

No it is called logic and common sence.
Religions started when secioties were very primative and had tons of superstitions about everything. The more we learned about our world with science the less we needed to think some sky fairy controled the rain, sun, & weather.
Those that continue to hold on to religious ideas in the face of all the scientific evidance we have arfe either uneducated and do not realize there is no God. Or they make the choice to hold on to ignorant fears of a spooky God that has a bad dispostion!
No Wikipeda is not Satanic!
Why is it if anything is not kissing the butt of Christianity then it is Satanic! Perhaps the we're right & you're evil attitude is why a lot of people hate Christians!

Actually, Wikipedia is written by all sorts of people, many of them religious. It is a wonderful, mostly objective source of information.
