trouble with what i eat.....?

i eat a lot of junk food. whenever i eat something healthy (veggies) it does not taste good. sometimes it makes me feel sick. plus i hate looking at it and then i start thinking about everything gross. any advice????

OMG! I am right with you. I cannot stand veggies. I'm not a skinny-minny by any means, and I often go on diets, but I always get laughs when I tell them that I refuse to eat vegetables! Every diet has them - makes sense though? The only "veggies" I like aren't even counted as vegetables - corn, potatoes. Basically, what I do eat is iceberg lettuce for salads and that's it.

My advice?

Here's what I've tried.

- There are websites out there that you can reference that help to hide your vegetables. For example...put some mashed cauliflower in with mashed potatoes. Didn't work for me, but maybe it will for you. I've also heard of putting just a bit of spinach in with pasta sauce and you won't know the difference.
- Try foods where the veggies aren't the major ingredient. My current diet has spinach & cheese tortellini. It tastes pretty good!
- Smother....e.g. cheese on cauliflower or peanut butter on celery.
- Never give up trying.
- Soups? I like vege beef soup myself. It just has a lot of salt.
- Try veggie dips.
- Eat alot of salads. Like I said, I'm an iceberg gal myself, but have been adding just a few leafs of romaine and bibb and such to get some darker greens in.
