I am terrified of seeing other people vomiting especially drunk people. I feel my blood draining but am not afraid of being sick myself. Am i alone in my wierdness?

It is very normal! I had the same problem for years. I can tell you the name of every kid that ever threw up while I was in school. It freaked me out and I usually ended up going home sick myself.
Then I had children myself. It was scary at first when they would thow up, but I got used to it.
Then I started working in a nursing home and had no choice but to be used to it.
I mean I had it so bad that if somebody threw up on a movie, I had to turn it off. It was so gross!!
Now, i'm over it. I am the first person to help someone who's sick in a bar or anywhere else. I'm finally the one brave enough to hold peoples hair back for them. Ha ha!!! It's amazing!!!
Working in nursing has really changed me for the better. I can't tell you that it's pleasant for me to see or be around, but i'm not running from it anymore.
I hope you'll be able to learn to live with this phobia as I have.
Now if I can get over the fear of cockroaches. lol!!!

Um, its not necessarily weirdness. some people cannot stomach seeing people sick. I wouldnt suggest going into the field of healthcare!;-P But in all seriousness, I guess its the same as some people dont like seeing blood. I have a friend that faints everytime he sees blood, whether his or someone elses.

Are you actually terrified or might it be that it's just upsetting to see? If you are actually terrified, you might have a more rapid heartbeat or other physical symptoms. Maybe the best thing is to just walk away whenever you see that happening.

I know many people this way. It's not that bad of a phobia. I don't fear this, but I've heard about someone who fears fish, and even rocks! Don't feel bad about yourself for this one. :]
