How can I be condemned to Hell if I can not trust those that he has placed into the authoritative position of writing his manuscript when he himself has said that they can not be trusted? THEY ARE SINNERS 9period). Not that they did sin, not that they wont sin, not that they have become sin free, but that THEY ARE!!! And so you would condem me by your Holy Manuscript that God has said Was Written by SINNERS. I do not want nor should I be condemned nor should I have to be governed by a religious manuscript that relates to its own authors as SINNERS! How could I possibly trust the written words of these men, knowing that like me they could make mistakes, prejudice, lie, delete, with hold, and interpret miscorrectly WHAT WAS THE WORD OF GOD! God has given me a choice you say, to FOLLOW HIS SINNERS??? Your God is not only baffeling and biased, he represents an entity that would condem his own creation just because he can. That is a very disoriented and dishonorable being. sAtAn rules

Following Christians won't get you to heaven, following Christ will. He is the ONLY one EVER that didn't sin, and this was God's perfect plan, that he sent his son to Earth for us, to become sin for us and take on the punishment that we all deserve. A true Christian will try their best to be like Christ, but man is still never our example, only God manifest in the flesh in the form of his son Jesus Christ. God is JUST, and because he is so there must be a penalty for sin, Jesus Christ paid that penalty. To say you can't trust anything man says is misleading and inaccurate. Do you believe that you are male/man? Someone told you so, and you accepted it. Do you believe that 2+2=4? Why, because you accept what someone taught you. We're all believing something, and we ALL will stand in front of God the creator one day and answer our judgment. Did we obey, help and follow his example (Jesus Christ) or not? The Truth is the Truth, like or not, accept it or not, it doesn't change it. I can stupidly say 2+2=5, but that doesn't make it true. I can choose to believe that 2+2=5, but that just makes me wrong, not change the truth. God, Jesus and the Holy Ghost (which by the way is who inspired man to write the words in the Bible, so technically the Bible was written buy man, but the actual whole truth, is it was written by God through man) are the same yesterday, today, and forever, and it will never change. Today, death and life are given to you as a choice, choose life! God loves you! He's not trying to make you do anything, that's why he gave you free will. He just wants so much more for you than you could ever possibly imagine. Honestly, if you knew the REAL Jesus, you'd love him, guaranteed. Everyone that has taken the time to know him, really, has loved him and experienced a much better life because of it.

Using your logic, what DO you believe? How many things in this world have you personally verified via your own five senses?

God doesn't condemn anyone to hell for not knowing or being "governed by a religious manuscript". In fact, God doesn't condemn anyone...we condemn ourselves by our own rejection of him. Truth is not subjective, its an absolute. You are free to choose whatever you want in life; love God and your neighbor...or treat them both with scorn and contempt. Do we fault God because some choose the latter?

I would contend that God is neither baffling or biased. Rather, its our own misguided human nature that is baffling and biased...

You are right on the last part: "sAtAn rules"...over the weak who choose to follow the easy path...

Hey Yippy JahQ:
You started off so calmly.
But you seem to have issues.
May I please attempt at pacifying some of those issues?
Yes. The various writers of the Bible were sinners.
God likes that.
He takes the lowly, the despised, the shameful and ill-considered and uses them to accomplish His will.
If a homeless person told you a truth, would you deny that truth just because he stinks?
Truth is truth right? No matter the source.
God has often used the lowly one to proclaim His message.
Please concentrate on the message, not the messenger.

Plus, God is not condemning you, He is inviting you.
He knows you and I are sinners, but His invitation is:
Give me your best try.
that's all He wants ....your best try.
He accepts your best try.
It shows sincerity, genuiness, an earnest desire.
That's what He wants to see.
Do we condemn a drug addict if he sincerely wishes to free himself of his habit?

It is rarely that we get a fresh perspective on something like this. Kudos to your intellect. An extremely valid argument. Obviously, there can be no meaningful counter argument, but it will be amusing to watch an irrational theist or two embarrass himself in the attempt.

...Shalom Baruch ha-ba ha-shem Adoni.... there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ... for greater is He that is in me then "he" that is in the World... and you're right, satan is the ruler of this world... but as "we" step into Eternity, Behold, He comes...and we who are Saved by Grace will live with Him for Eternity... and those who choose otherwise will have their place in the lake of fire... "so it was written, so it will be done"..... it's your choice...
