No, Bush is not using the troops for his personal agenda. It is the Democrats who are doing that. It i impossible to support the troops but not support the war. If you support the troops then you support their missions and you would do everything in your power to be behind them. This resolution today shows the divide in this country and our enemy will use this against our troops, who the Democrats supposedly support!
When we went to war with Iraq President Bush had one of the highest approval ratings ever. When people like the Dixie Chicks and Pearl Jam spoke out against the President and the war, their record sales plummeted. People walked out of their concerts. Radio stations refused to play them. But, the wind shifted and the fickleness of Americans once again was shown to the world.
The reason that Iraq is not goin well is because it is played out in the media. It is broadcasted for the world to see and the world to judge. If America could fight the Iraqis like we did the Germans or the Japanese then this war would have been over years ago.
I personally never supported the idea of going to war. It is impossible to fight a conventional war which is splashed across the news everyday. But, we are there and we are involved and it is our responsibilty to see it through to the end.

Here is how you test your theory, Answer this question Who has benefited the most from this war? What was the state of the country before the 9/11 attacks?
The republicans, GWB Sr., Haliburton, Dick Chaney, GWB jr, and the petroleum industry benefited from this war. What is the State of Texas' biggest industry? OIL.
Before the war they were investigating the elections in Florida were peoples in districts that were democratic were not counted. It also happened to be in a state where the governor's last name is Bush.
If it looks like a duck, walk like a duck, quacks like a duck, guess what it is a duck. Too much coincidence to be ignored.

The war in Iraq is based on stealing Iraqi oil. Bush's motives appear on the surface to be totally self serving and slanted towards big oil. The though of our troops being "Used" for this purpose is so emotional to the blogbaba that I have to hope we are in Iraq for more than just oil thievery and war profiteering Republican owned corporate cronies of the President.

Absolutely, no question.
It is well documented that the Bush family and friends such as Cheney and Rumsfeld have vested financial interests in both the outcome of the war and also supplies to the military.
Rumsfeld , Bush SNR both sit on the Board of the company that supplies oil to the American military.
The winners will of course be the real people who started the entire ball rolling with 9-11, the entire Saudi Royal family ..very very good friends of the Bush Administration and family.
The sadest thing about the WMD was that he abused Colin Powells proffesionalism to try and turn him into a stooge on the world stage, fortunatly Bush underestimated the intelligence of the real free press ( that is non American press) and we saw right through what was going on.
FBI, CIA and your other agencies became a laughing stock through their inability to see 9-11 coming but given the closeness with the Saudis..you would have to ask who did know?

Yes - he wants to steal Iraq's oil reserves and establish a middle east presence. He's using our soldiers in vain for it and it's wrong on so many levels. Fox and CNN has and is still being used to brainwash us into thinking the Iraq war is justified when it's illegal, immoral, and unjustifiable. We actually voted in November to stop the war but he ignored the will of the people. He should be impeached.

If you believe that GWB's agenda is to win this damn war, then he is using the troops for just that.
The intel about Iraq, regarding WMD are probably accurate, but Saddam Huessein managed to fly them to Syria before the invasion. This was Saddam's MO. He did the same thing in Desert Storm with his aircraft, only then he flew them all to Iran so the coalition forces couldn't blow them up.

Yes, definately.
He had plans to invade Iraq and take down Saddam long before 9-11.
He manipulated the intelligence and lied to the country to get support to go there.
Now he's created one hell of a mess for himself and our troops.

Oh course, he is!
He admitted his strong belief, that he drilled into everybody's heads, day after day, regarding weapons of mass destruction being stockpiled in Iraq, was based on faulty intelligence, but I think he just lied.
